Route: This will be a longer walk, approximately an hour and a half to 2 hours. It is a flat walk along the Oyster River and the ocean. For those who want to carpool we will meet at 8:15 in parking lot A at North Island College. We will leave promptly at 8:30. The park is approximately a half hour drive north from the College on Highway 19A. OR you can meet us at the Oyster River Nature Park parking lot (4840 Regent Road,) at 9 o’clock.
Amenities: Outhouses are available at the parking lot. Bring coffee, chair and a snack or lunch as we will be gone for most of the morning.
Safety First. During extreme weather conditions the walks will be cancelled.
